roor, a well known emulator developer for AdriPSX & DuoS DSEmu give a heads up on his new PS2 emulator. No name yet, he let you all give it name. This is what he said:

Hi,
I'm Roor, I hope someone remembers me... I made some emulators some time ago: AdriPSX, DuoS DSEmu, and some others that surely no one knows.
Anyway, since middle 2014 I begun refactoring my old PS2 Emu project; and now it runs games and plays with an acceptable degree of performance.
I was planning on renaming it, right now it is just generic "ps2emu" (tentatively "Connectix Ps2emu").
Features so far:
- Good compatibility, plays most (but not all) commercial games from ISOs.
- HLE Based. It doesn't require a BIOS.
- Doesn't use any plugin at all.
- Small footprint : it's only 1.2Mb in total.
- Requires CPU with SSE2 support.
- Requires DirectX 9 with shader 2.0 support.
- Supports MemoryCard files, but no SaveStates.
- Has SD (original res) and HD (high res) modes, for enhanced graphics.
- Runs fairly well on Intel I5, Windows 8, without external GPU which I use for tests.
I plan to do a limited release (for testers only) by next Monday.

PPSSPP v1.0 released

Henrik just released new official version of this great psp emulator. This time come VR Cardboard support and more improvements. This is what he said,

no$gba v2.8 released - with DSi emulation

Martin just updated his Nintendo DS emulator which now give support to DSi emulation. This is what he said from ngemu forum,

Just uploaded no$gba v2.8. The new version is now having real non-experimental DSi emulation. And it's more or less working with DSi software. So far, it's tested with two DSi cartridges, and two DSiware programs:
System Flaw (cartridge): Works, but the camera emulation is showing only a dummy picture with snow (which is making the game unplayable, since it misuses the camera as gyro sensor).
Cooking Coach (cartridge): Hangs for whatever reason. It doesn't seem to be related to DSi I/O ports, so it might be some more basic problem, like some of the new/bigger memory regions not being properly emulated yet, or some memory not being initialized as how the DSi firmware would do it) (running the game in NDS mode works, the problem occurs only in DSi mode.
DSi Browser (DSiware): Boots, but complains about non-emulated WLAN access point.
Flipnote Studio (DSiware): Hangs for whatever reason, might be the same problem as with cooking coach. Would be great if anybody figures out what is causing the problems!

DSi emulation requires a copy of the lower 32K-halves of the ARM7/ARM9 BIOSes (BIOSDSI7.ROM and BIOSDSI9.ROM). And don't forget to enable DSi emulation (default is still set to NDS mode, for better compatibility with games like Cooking Coach).
PS. Some advice on how to capture camera pictures under windows would be nice! I need something with good backwards compatibility (which would be probably directshow), and it should be something that can be implemented by plain source code (without code from external libraries).

Android Internal/External SD card stuck preparing storage

New Android devices might not have this issues. But I did encounter this problem lately.
It been a very long run with my LG Optimus 3D. To solve problem with stuck preparing storage, follow this solution.

Connect the smartphone/tablet to your PC.

Once connected, turn on USB mode so you can copy/move files from the tablet with your PC.

Once the internal SD card is mounted on your PC, format the internal SD card with your computer to FAT32 with 64k cluster/allocation size.

By using windows command line:

format /FS:FAT32 /a:64K X:

Unmount from the PC. Turn off USB mode. Reboot. You should be good to go.

You can move back your backup files earlier. Better one by one and test. In case there is files that causing the troubles. Good luck.

Nowadays, we have Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Opera and next coming soon Microsoft new Browser so called 'Project Spartan'. Facebook Lite use less data and resource for low end phones

This is what most people want. It use less data. It also run smooth where it use less resources which meant for low-end phones.

Command settings for RTC on linux

This is the command I use to setup my Beaglebone with RTC DS133833.

Set Date and Time manually:

date --set 2015-01-23
date --set 21:08:00

Change region/timezone:

dpkg-reconfigure tzdata

Read RTC date time value:

hwclock -r -f /dev/rtc1

Write date time value to RTC:

hwclock -w -f /dev/rtc1

another command is

hwclock -s -f /dev/rtc1

To store date time in CMOS(Non-volatile memory):

hwclock --systohc

Import Project From Eclipse ADT to Android Studio

It is recommended to migrate from Eclipse with ADT to Android Studio since it is now the official IDE for Android to receive all the latest IDE updates.

To migrate existing Android projects, simply import them using Android Studio:

    In Android Studio, close any projects currently open. You should see the Welcome to Android Studio window.
    Click Import Non-Android Studio project.
    Locate the project you exported from Eclipse, expand it and select the target folder.
    No need to select the build.gradle file anymore.
    click OK and Android Studio will do the rest.

Android Studio properly updates the project structure and creates the appropriate Gradle build file.

Nucleus: New PS3 Emulator

Afer rpcs3 which now able to boot first coomercial game, now we have another newcomer in PS3 scene called Nucleus.

This project focuses on PlayStation 3 emulation. Please, understand that I'm not interested on providing support, releases, or attention to any comments, issues or pull requests for now.

Limitations:

Memory: Nucleus emulates the PS3 user-mode environment, which uses 32-bit addresses. This reflects on the CPU / Memory related code, and could cause issues if you use it for other platforms, or for designing a low-level PS3 emulator.
Portability: Nucleus assumes that the host system runs on a low endian CPU, with 64-bit addresses.
